Governor's Team Excellence Award  

The Governor’s Team Excellence Award is presented annually to a team of six to 20 state employees that exhibits qualities of a high functioning team that uses innovation and ingenuity resulting in cost savings and operational efficiencies. Consistent with Governor Markell’s priority for a more efficient and effective government, employees and agencies are encouraged to work together for improved customer service, improved work processes, innovative service delivery and ways of doing business, and cost savings.
