Based on the Malcolm Baldrige Award criteria, the Delaware Quality Award recognizes organizations that have implemented quality standards resulting in improved customer service.  The Award also serves to provide Delaware organizations, both private and public, with a method of evaluation to continuously improve their operations.  Governor Minner strongly encourages state agencies to apply.  The Principles of Quality course, First State Quality Improvement Fund, and Delaware Quality Partnership all provide resources to assist agencies applying for this Award.
